Have you ever driven your car home and not remembered how you got there? Or has someone told you you just said something, but you can’t remember saying it? Your Deep Mind NEEDS to protect you

Your Deep Mind’s primary job is to protect you and the “programs” it uses to decide when it needs to protect you formed VERY early in life, long before you had all the talents and abilities you have now. Your self-protection is everything - the Deep Mind doesn’t take chances. Since these self-protective programs formed when you had very little power compared to the people and the environment around you, they are usually hyper-sensitive and often fire off when there is no real danger to you as an adult. So while you rationally decide to make bold moves, grow your visibility and personal brand and share your authentic genius with the world, your unconscious mind keeps jumping in front and either holding you back, or possibly making you act rashly or out of frustration and anger.

Essentially your mind is driving with both feet—one on the gas, one on the brakes. Step on the gas - (Rational mind) "I have something to add to this conversation". Step on the brake - (Deep Mind) If you say anything you might get called out, rejected, even laughed at. Your mind needs to stop you fast!

When you don’t “speak up” with your boss or colleague, your rational mind first decides it has something to say - you are (briefly) motivated to speak. Then immediately your deep mind body reacts out of self-protection and actively stops you from speaking. Ever feel your throat “close” before speaking to an authority figure or in front of an audience? You didn’t think “I should close my throat” and then do it! Your deep mind and body automatically took action to make it uncomfortable to speak. Again, those automatic programs are very old, and tend to fire off when no “real” danger is present.

Emotional energy trapped in your body fuels self-protection

It's not “limiting beliefs” or your “mindset” that actually limit you. It's the unconscious, automatic, self-protective reactions and behaviors. “Limiting beliefs” are really just “after-the-fact” labels your rational mind creates for what are in fact “limiting behaviors”. Your “inner critic” that judges you is not causing your problems - it’s trying to explain them!

What drives those "limiting behaviors" then? It is negative emotional energy trapped in your body. Those automatic programs, your “limiting behaviors”, are directly powered specifically by negative energy stored in networks of memories that have occurred through your entire lifetime. Not by thoughts or beliefs, but directly from emotional energy. Through many life experiences, your body has developed automatic programs, powered by emotional energy stored in your body, that stop you before you do or say something that might mean “danger” (an experience of hurt, shame, guilt, rejection etc). And not from one or two "traumatic" memories but rather from networks of 10,20,50, even hundreds, of memories We call this the “Emotional Energy Networks” or “EEN”.

You can flip the “Off Switch”

Here's what most people don't know: You can turn off those self-protective responses like a switch, instantly and permanently. When you delete the energy from the “keystone memories” in the network, you delete energy through the entire network almost instantly. These keystone memories are the key that unlocks the energy in the network. These memories are rarely your obviously “traumatic” experiences and often occurred VERY early in life - often perceived as early as the womb or during birth (and even before).

How do you find these keystone memories? How do you “delete” energy in the entire “Emotional Energy Network”? Your mind has innate processes for both locating the memories as well as for eliminating the energy. They simply need to be systematically triggered to cause a profound rewiring of the old programs. This is the foundation of the Deep Mind Recode process - systematically activating keystone memories, eliminating energy from the entire EEN and thereby deactivating the old programs.

The Process

The RECODE process described below is the core process used in both our Targeted Recode and LifeCode360 programs, which are typically delivered 1 to 1 via Zoom. While the Targeted Recode lasers in on one high-importance area of your life and uncover the unconscious programming that's been keeping you stuck, the LifeCode 360 works across all key areas of your life—career, relationships, identity, and purpose. It resolves the survival patterns running in the background of your decisions, behaviors, and emotions—so you can operate from clarity, trust, and true alignment.

The Steps

Step 1. Preparation

You complete self-reflection prework writing specially designed to support prioritizing your focus, give us a holistic view of your challenges and life history to accelerate the 1 to 1 Decode session, and to begin activating connections in the Deep Mind (typically 1-2 hours for the Targeted Recode program, and 2-5 hours for the LifeCode360 program, to maximize impact on the depth and speed of results). You also watch orientation videos which cover many of the core principals and practices of the Recode method to prepare your mind to take most advantage of our 1 to 1 time together (90 min, broken into small “chapters”).

Step 2. Focus Call

We review your self-reflection prework and support you in refining what will make the biggest impact in your life — and which behaviors and states are blocking you from what you want. This call also orients you to what is coming in the process.

Step 3. Decode Deep Dive

The Decode session is a conversation and exploration of your chosen focus. Working backward from specific moments when you experience your blocks or challenges, we unravel the specific behaviors and emotional states blocking you, listening and watching carefully for hidden metaphors and equivalences and body reactions that will give away when the rational mind is analyzing (NOT what creates your problems) and when the Deep Mind is actually triggering (your real drivers).

We then activate and map the memory networks driving those automatic reactions using closed-eye visualizations of the keystone memories that appear. Often areas of the body will activate as we navigate keystone memories, giving further pointers to deeper related memories and new drivers. Often the relationships we discover as we navigate the emotional energy network are non-obvious and extremely specific to the client.

One client found a critically important memory of falling off a swing when they were 3 years old and the specific way she experienced her mother’s response had created an important pattern of self-repression. She had not previously remembered that memory nor rationally judged it to be of any importance - she hadn’t been badly hurt, her mother cared for her immediately and nothing about the event was particularly “traumatic” but her mind knew that it was a keystone memory for her in the formation of a self-protective strategy that wasn’t serving her.


The core to the precision of this process is our ability to distinguish exactly what's truly driving your behaviors and reactions, which is often quite different from what might have seemed “obvious” or what had been "discovered" using other methods. This conversation produces a detailed plan of your “core drivers”, charged phrases and key negative emotional states as well as important periods of pivotal life experience (for your Deep Mind, not always trauma you would recognize) which are the true, direct energy sources of what you want to change.

Step 4. Recode Intensive

The Recode sessions are then a closed-eye guided process where you enter a light trance state (you're not under hypnosis—you remain aware and in control). We trigger innate processes of the mind which often identify even deeper root causes than may have come up before, and which bring insights to your awareness from deep within the mind and body, triggering the Deep Mind to eliminate the negative energy from your body permanently.

You physically experience the release of negative energy from the body, often important symbolic images appear as your mind rewires to new more powerful behaviors and a profound awareness of your core internal power and energy centers is felt, often in the spine, heart, solar plexus but also in areas of the body that were holding the negative energy such as the upper and lower back, arms and legs. We call these “Core Images & Experiences” (experience of your core energetic self) and later utilize these unique-to-you energetic experiences to drive even further deepening of your results (see “Integration & Follow-up below).

This activates a collaboration between your rational and deep mind as insights are passed from deep mind to rational mind and energy is released — they come into alignment and are no longer working against each other. When the negative energy in the memory network is permanently released in this way, the automatic reactions that have been holding you back are getting switched off. We continue using this technique, typically over several sessions, as we work through the memory networks that we discovered during the Decode process.

To maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the process, these initial Recode sessions ideally last for 2.5-3 hours and leave many clients’ minds and bodies fatigued, and even light headed. These effects subside within hours but the intense feeling of lightness, peace and inner connection typically lasts much longer.

The results are immediately noticeable in terms of behavior and emotional reactions to previously triggering situations.

Step 5. Integration & Deepening

After the initial Recode sessions we begin to help you refine which new behaviors and states are most valuable to you. Often after just one or two Recode sessions, your worldview starts to shift in important ways, so we revise your target states and objectives based on the insights and self-awareness that have already begun emerging. Many people begin the process focused on getting relief from specific problems but quickly begin to see and feel how much more is possible!

We then teach you simple, short daily visualization practices in which you utilize your unique, intense “Core Images & Experiences" to deepen and accelerate your transformation. The simple daily routines are incredibly effective because they “speak” to your Deep Mind in a unique-to-you, specific visual and emotional language which it gave you during the Recode process when you were experiencing your true nature most deeply!

Step 6. Goal Setting & Subconscious Programming

Based on your evolving objectives, we then work with you to create meaningful, specific goals using our superSMART framework and then teach you unique visualization techniques to literally program your subconscious to work for you 24/7 to get you what you really want. These are far more effective than vision boards and typical visualization or “manifesting” techniques because they utilize the unique language of your Deep Mind collaboration, together with our knowledge of how the Deep Mind stores “future” memories (projections) to rewrite your Deep Mind’s understanding of your future - making achieving your goals almost inevitable!

Step 7. Follow up & Support

Follow-up support to develop your use of the mind tools we teach during the process and to support refining your goals as you expand continues for 2 months (Targeted Recode) or 6 months (LifeCode 360). LifeCode360 includes additional Recode Revolutions as you achieve your goals, expand your horizons and encounter new challenges, but all Deep Mind Recode alumni can take advantage of ongoing support on an as-needed basis.

What Makes It Different

We get a lot of comments and questions about how our core Recode method compares to other well-known modalities (such as “This sounds like hypnosis!” or “how does this compare to EMDR?”). While we are about to describe a very different scale of results we get from the Recode, first we want to say we are sincerely grateful that all these modalities exist, and that their practitioners are out there helping people! That said, we are still surprised and inspired daily by the speed and depth of the results our clients get and we are excited to share them with you.

What the Deep Mind Recode IS NOT

Perhaps the most important difference is that while many modalities are forms of therapy, the Recode process is specifically not therapy (although the effects of the process are often referred to as having been extremely “therapeutic”).

While most modalities produce helpful results, many achieve this by trying to overcome, manage, reframe, or compensate for your blocks. Some only work on a small subset of the life experiences that drive our larger problems. So, often their results are quite narrow to one problem (which can be absolutely more than enough to eliminate a very specific phobia or fear for example). In other cases, they depend on you retaining conscious awareness of the mindset shift and either “regress” over time or new, similar problems (re)appear. Most, if not all, are significantly slower in achieving desired effects than the Recode, which produces life-altering transformation in just days.

What the Deep Mind Recode IS

The Recode is a method that systematically creates personal and mind performance unlocks. The Recode focuses on defining (if needed) and then unlocking specific, important life desires and objectives. The Recode regularly eliminates anxiety, reactivity and self-doubt but the process is not focussed on “feeling better” but rather getting unlocked to get what you really want. This means focussing on both eliminating behaviors which stand in the way of your goals, as well as programming the Deep Mind to work proactively 24/7 for exactly what you want.

Since it is our belief that “getting what we want” comes, first, from being connected to what really matters to us and, second, through taking aligned and consistent action in the world, the Recode process begins with guiding clients to go beyond self-judgements and “reasons” for their problems to identify what specific impact or improvement they want in their lives and what specifically are not doing to create that impact, or doing that is working against it. Once we have specific impact and improvement objectives identified and the behaviors, reactions or self-limitations that block them, we move onto the rewiring of the Deep Mind with our unique combination of tools which draw from our training and experience in many of these common modalities listed below. In fact, rather than relying on a single modality, it is the combination of many of the most important aspects of more traditional modalities, plus some unique insights we have developed, that make the Recode so effective.

Key elements of the Recode that enable these results:

1: The Recode process is “value driven” and has a guarantee of results.

Our process begins with self-reflection exercises and support in choosing the most impactful self-limiting behaviors and experiences that, when transformed, will create more professional success, wealth and health & wellbeing. We work with you to define specific, observable new behaviours and then outcomes. And, we guarantee you will get them. Clients often come with a generalized, inspecific problem such as general anxiety or self-doubt) but, through the guidance of our process, are able to define much more ambitious goals and much more specific outcomes for their Recode, increasing their return on investment significantly.

2: The Recode is extremely precise and systematic

we don’t make suggestions about abstract, high-level concepts like “people-pleasing” or “self-worth”. We work on specific observable behavior patterns - like I don’t speak up and share my ideas with certain people at work or I experience anxiety when speaking in front of people. We then use specific memories of these behaviors to begin mapping the emotional energy networks responsible.

3: The Recode goes all the way to the deepest root causes.

We work with innate brain processes to identify the deepest and earliest root causes in the memory network. These are typically before the age of 3 and often during or even perceived as before birth! (Note: Our minds are symbolic - we don’t judge what is “true” - we simply respect the representations your mind gives us and work with them. The results speak for themselves.) By deleting emotional energy directly and precisely from the roots and throughout entire memory networks, our results are typically tens of times faster and more impactful, having an immediate effect across multiple situations and areas of life and are permanent. For example, people who come to us to get unblocked in their professional life, not only get results beyond their expectations at work, but typically also find, immediately and with no effort, that their relationships with their partner, kids, communities and family improve significantly and often have health and wellbeing outcomes such as improved sleep while chronic headaches and muscle pains disappear as well - with no specific focus on those problems or extra effort.

Traditional Therapy & CBT

Help you understand your patterns and develop coping strategies. You learn to deal with your anxiety. We delete the source of the anxiety entirely—nothing to manage.

Hypnosis

Works by suggestion but doesn't delete the emotional energy stored in memory networks. Suggestions can fade over time. We permanently remove the energy powering unwanted behaviors—once it's gone, it's gone.

EMDR

Processes traumatic memories you're consciously aware of, typically one at a time. We identify and delete energy from entire networks of memories—including the earliest keystone memories you're not consciously aware of—in a single session, creating exponentially greater impact.

Many NLP techniques create new patterns to override old ones at the conscious and behavioral level—essentially workarounds. We don't create workarounds—we unplug the batteries powering the old pathways so they simply don't run anymore.

Mindset Work & Coaching

Work with your conscious mind—only 5-15% of what's driving you. You're still driving with the brakes on, just pressing harder on the gas. We work directly with the 85-95% of unconscious behavior at its source and release the brakes entirely.

Somatic Techniques

Recognize that emotional energy, often referred to as “trauma”, is stored in the body, often located in intense physical concentrations of energy or pain. Since the mind itself controls the localization of energy in the body, it can precisely and efficiently release where it has stored that energy, without physical methods. More importantly, it can release powerful negative energies long before they are causing physical manifestations. While many somatic methods “work with what is coming up”, the Recode method works backward from the specific life objectives you have in life, to what is blocking them, then onto where the energy is stored that powers those blocks, and last “flips the switch” at the source, giving instant, powerful unlocks toward your objectives (and in most cases, also significant physical relief).
